Welcome to The Reader’s Journal

Welcome to the very first post on The Reader’s Journal!

I am beyond thrilled to officially open the doors to our brand new community blog inside the Reader Circle. Whether you are reading this with your morning coffee, winding down in the evening, or taking an intentional break during your workday, I want to personally thank you for being here and embarking on this exciting journey with us.

Who We Are: The Heart Behind Wolf Vibrations & Gaia Gate Wellness

To kick off our inaugural post, I want to share the story behind who we are and why this space exists.

Gaia Gate Wellness is a signature company of Wolf Vibrations, LLC. Our foundation was built on the understanding that true wellness goes far deeper than surface level self care, products, or temporary relaxation.

Many of our clients and community members have spent years or even decades navigating the intense, fast paced, high demand world of Corporate America. You have poured your energy into deadlines, boardrooms, client demands, and executive expectations. While that drive builds remarkable skills, it can also leave you drained if you aren’t actively nourishing your mind, spirit, and emotional well being.

At Gaia Gate Wellness, we believe you deserve to be nurtured. But real nurture isn’t just about unwinding; it’s about being equipped. It’s about giving yourself what you genuinely need emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually to continue thriving, leading, and stepping boldly into your purpose as an executive, entrepreneur, and leader in society.

Why We Created the Reader Circle

That intention is precisely why we created the Reader Circle and The Reader’s Journal.

We wanted to build a dedicated sanctuary, a soft landing spot where high achieving professionals, dreamers, and lifelong learners can gather to refill their cups.

This community isn’t just about reading books; it’s about:

Equipping Your Mind: Engaging with powerful ideas that sharpen your vision, challenge conventional thinking, and expand your perspective.

Cultivating Authentic Connection: Building meaningful relationships with peers who share your values and understand the demands of executive life.

Everyday Application: Taking the tools and insights we learn from world class authors and applying them in our everyday living, whether that’s in the boardroom, in our businesses, or at home raising the next generation.

Launching Our Book Club: Zero to One

To officially start our reading circle, I could not be more excited to introduce our very first featured book:

Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future by Peter Thiel with Blake Masters.

As we launch this book club together, I want to highlight who these authors are and the transformative mindset they bring to the table.

The Authors & Their Mindset

Peter Thiel: Co founder of PayPal and Palantir, and an early investor in Facebook. Thiel teaches us that real progress comes from going from 0 to 1, creating something entirely new rather than copying what already exists, which is just going from 1 to n. He famously argues that “competition is for losers” because when you spend all your time competing in crowded markets, you lose sight of what makes you uniquely valuable. His message encourages us to build something so authentic and distinct that we escape the trap of competition altogether.

Blake Masters: In 2012, Blake was a 25 year old Stanford law student attending Thiel’s lectures. Recognizing the value of those insights, he took detailed notes and posted them online, where they went viral. He was only 28 when the finished book was published! Blake didn’t wait for permission or a title. He stayed focused, transitioned into venture capital and executive leadership, and eventually entered public service as a political candidate.

Blake is a prime example of having the courage to stay focused, exercise your mindset, and shine your light now without waiting until you reach a certain age or status.

Applying Zero to One to Everyday Life

What makes Zero to One so fitting for our first book is that these principles aren’t just for Silicon Valley startups. Our family actively uses these tools in our everyday living.

As a mother, I apply these exact lessons every single day in raising my young man. Teaching him to think independently, ask better questions, and move from 0 to 1 helps him understand that he doesn’t need to conform to what society or social media says he should be.

He learns that his worth isn’t measured by competing with others, but by cultivating his own unique gifts, trusting his authentic vision, and contributing something original to the world.

That is why Zero to One is such a powerful starting point for all of us in this book club. It reminds us that whether we are leading companies, navigating executive careers, or guiding our families, we each have a responsibility to stop competing, stop copying, and start building something truly meaningful from 0 to 1.

So are you ready?

I am so excited that we’re walking down this path together. Let’s make this space a vibrant hub of learning, growth, and empowerment.

With love and gratitude,

Tawnie Wolf
